Right now I am studying for my master's degree in Universidade do Minho. I'm specializing in computer graphics and artificial intelligence. I'm enjoying it greatly! Right now I'm working on my thesis, on facial recognition in video surveillance; I should be done by October 2010.

I am also working under a research scholarship for CCG (Centro de Computação Gráfica / Computer Graphics Center) in Guimarães. It is my first non-freelance employment experience, and so far it's been going very well. The project I'm working on is an augmented reality (AR) application for a showroom on the Ciência Viva display, part of the exibitions for Guimarães 2012 - European Capital of Culture.
